Chinchiquilla, Peru - Espresso (500g)

Chinchiquilla is produced by 30 smallholder farmers in northern Peru, near the cloud forests of Chaupe, Cunía and Chinchiquilla (a conservation area established by the Peruvian Govt in 2019). Coffee is a vital part of the local community, with many producers coming from second and third-generation farming families and working with a strong focus on environmental care.  Cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness, then pulped, fermented, washed and dried on solar dryers or tarps before being delivered to Caravela’s purchasing stations for quality assessment and export.
